June is the time to license your dog!

Licenses cannot be renewed until June 1

Licenses

Per Connecticut state statute: 22-342:  All dogs six months of age and older must be licensed annually during the month of June. 

Dog licenses can be obtained at the Town Clerk's Office. We require an updated rabies certificate, a check payable to Willington Town Clerk and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to process your dog's license by mail.

Fees

Any license renewed after June 30th will incur a  $1 per month late fee per month (see below) 

Replacement tags or transfer from another town: .50 

Transfer of ownership: $1.00 for new license /tag if already licensed.
