2024 Parks & Rec Bus Trips

The Willington Parks & Rec Dept. is once again working with area towns to offer residents interesting and fun days to area attractions at an affordable price. Check this page for updates as the calendar fills in. To register for a trip, complete the universal registration form at the bottom of this page and return to WPRD along with payment.

March:

Looking for something to do on St. Patrick's Day?  You're in luck! Join WPRD, surrounding towns, and MyFunBus for a trip to Boston's Saint Patrick's Day Parade (the largest in New England!).

Date: Sunday, March 17th
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, March 13th
Departure Time: 9:00am
Departs From: Tolland Commuter Lot, Exit 68 off of I-84 (Near Dunkin Donuts)
Return Time: 7:00pm-7:30pm
Fee: $80.00 (fee includes bus transportation only)

July:

Thursday, July 4th, James Taylor at Tanglewood!  Lennox, MA 

Beloved singer, songwriter James Taylor will make this a 4th of July to remember as you enjoy his music and the beautiful grounds known as Tanglewood!

The Coach Bus departs from the Tolland Commuter Lot at exit #68 at 3:30 p.m. and returns a little after midnight. Concert begins at 8 p.m.  Price: $95 pp includes bus and lawn ticket. Fireworks are planned after the show. You may purchase food there or bring in food, coolers,  wine, etc. (no cooking) Register early, trip and concert are often a sell out.
